Best Time to Trek Ghorepani Ghandruk Circuit Trek

The spring season ( March, April and May ) would be great because of the rhododendrons bloom. In spring time you will get to enjoy the variety of flowers along the trail, including blooming Rhododendron forests. While trekking towards Tadapani, the disney world of fairy tale forests makes this trek quite nice and beautiful. Trekkers can enjoy snow to play in winter months and until early spring season. Together typical local culture of Gurung, Magar and other ethnical groups and their traditional hill terraced farmland.

Food and Accommodation 

Accommodation options on this trek include tea houses and lodges, which offer basic but comfortable rooms with shared bathrooms. These accommodations typically provide blankets and pillows, but you may want to bring your own sleeping bag for extra warmth. It's important to note that during peak trekking seasons, such as in the fall and spring, it's advisable to make advance reservations for accommodation to ensure availability.

As for meals, most tea houses and lodges on the Ghorepani Ghandruk trek offer a variety of Nepali and western dishes, including dal bhat (rice and lentil soup), momos (dumplings), pasta, noodles, and more. You can also find snacks and drinks such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and bottled water. Prices for meals and drinks may be slightly higher than in cities due to the remote location of the trek.

Drinking water

We will get mineral and boiled water along the trekking routes which is also an additional cost. We discourage not to buy Mineral bottle water but use boiled water from the local lodges and put water purify tablets. Plastic bottles are difficult to dispose off and have become an environmental problem in mountains.

What to take

We provide one porter between two trekkers to carry your trekking gears. You will be carried your valuable things in a day pack by your own and your other bags will be carried by the porter in a duffel bag which we provided. Porter carries about 25 KG from 2 trekkers.
